Booking the tickets online was easy, and getting in was actually quick with no real hassle. The only thing was that the staff didn’t really acknowledge me much, so I felt a little ignored during the whole process

We really enjoyed the location here, right on the waterfront. If you’re planning a visit, I’d definitely suggest getting there a bit early so you can have a wander along the water before going in. The views over the Humber are really nice and made the whole day feel a bit more special

I went to The Deep with my mum, who uses a walking stick, and it was all really easy. The lifts were working, the toilets were close by, and the staff were helpful without making a big deal of anything, if that makes sense. Parking was simple too, really close to the entrance, so there wasn’t a long walk to worry about. It made the whole day feel a lot less stressful, and I’d happily go again.

Visited The Deep the staff were so lovely. Friendly from the start. Busy too, but it didn’t feel stressful. Every person we spoke to was happy to help, which made a big difference. Just an easy, nice visit overall. I’d definitely go back.

We had a really lovely day at The Deep with our two kids. It just had a nice feel to it, and everything was easy with the buggy, which makes such a difference. There was plenty for the kids to look at, and they stayed interested pretty much the whole time. The staff were friendly and didn’t make us feel rushed at all. Toilets were clean, and there were enough spots to sit when everyone needed a little break. I don’t know, it was just one of those days that felt really nice. We’d definitely go back.

We visited The Deep and had a look around the gift shop before leaving. I picked up a few souvenirs for the kids, and to be fair, some of the designs were really cute, especially the sea life bits. The kids were happy with what they chose, so it did the job in that sense.
I think I just expected the quality to feel a little better for the price. One of the keyrings felt a bit cheap, and the mug I bought had a small mark on the print. It wasn’t a big enough issue to ruin anything, but it didn’t feel particularly special either. Fine if you want a quick gift or keepsake, but I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to buy much there again.

I did that quick “walk in, scan the shelves, see if anything jumps out” thing, and not much did. There were a few nice bits here and there, but the choice felt limited. It was okay for a quick browse, just not somewhere I’d expect to find loads of options...

I had to sort out our family membership after I put in the wrong detail which was completely my fault. The admin team got back to me quickly and fixed it without making it awkward or turning it into a big hassle.

I wasn’t totally convinced it would be worth the price when we booked, but for us, it ended up being good value. The place was bigger than I expected, and we never felt like we had to rush through anything. The kids were really into it and there was enough to keep them occupied for a long time, which makes a big difference when you’re paying for a day out. Like most places, food and little extras can get pricey if you’re not careful, so I guess it depends how much you plan to spend once you’re inside. But just looking at the ticket price, I thought it was fair. We’d go back.

The hours ended up fitting our day out really well, which was a nice surprise because sometimes you have to shuffle everything around. We were able to go at a good time without feeling rushed, and it just kind of made the whole day flow better...

We spent about 3 hours here with the kids and it was a really good little outing, there was plenty to look at without feeling like we had to rush around and the big tank was definitely our favourite part, the staff were friendly too so we’d happily go back again...

There was loads to see and everything looked great. I did feel a bit pressured to take it all in quickly, but overall it was a really good experience.

Went to The Deep last weekend it was a really nice visit. The animals all seemed calm and well looked after, the tanks were clean, and the staff clearly knew what they were talking about. I also liked all the conservation info around the place, it just felt like animal welfare was actually being taken seriously

It’s a nice place overall, but the queues were way too long. I was already feeling mentally drained, so standing around waiting for that long kind of took the fun out of it for me.

Took the kids along and they ended up learning loads about sea life, which was great. A few areas were a bit crowded, especially around that part, but the staff were really friendly and happy to answer their questions. Overall, it was a good educational day out and they enjoyed it.

The signs were actually really clear, which I appreciated more than I expected. Even the little arrows and labels were placed where I’d naturally look, so I didn’t have to wander around or double back once.

We stopped by the cafe after our visit and really enjoyed the food. The chips were piping hot and nicely crisp on the outside, and everything tasted fresh. It was a little on the pricey side, but the quality was good and it made for a lovely finish to the day...
